#428.Sunday was spent at work. Monday was spent at work. It's weird working on a weekday morning again. Nostalgia heaven with all the weekday regulars getting their coffee before work. It's nice to see them again though, and they remember my name, how sweet. :) (I only used this tacky ass picture because it has a Michael Buble reference quote whatever you call it.) Today was spent with Herms. Woke up at eight thirty, ate, got ready and got to Sunshine Station at ten or so. The weather was appalling. Cold and rainy and just overall unpleasant if you were outside. Waited a bit before he arrived, but when he did, it was just rainbows and stuff. Got on the train and booted it straight to Parliament station. Went for coffee at a quaint cafe, that has a fine latte. (I do have pictures from all of today but Herms has them so I might edit this post and post it later or something). Then went to Fitzroy gardens to relive the first time we went out together. We walked around pointing out all the things we remembered. The fairy tree, god'a vagina (inside thing), rape dungeons and the yellow tree that looked like it should have been an album cover. Even if it wasn't so yellow anymore. So then, we had a few hour long conversation just chilling in the gardens. Something about Buddha's earlobes I dunno. After that, we decided to walk back to Melbourne Central or something. We didn't make it. We walked through chinatown and to the asian store where all the shifty drinks were to continue our tradition of buying a dodgy drink to try out every time we were in the city. Drank it, it was quite good. And then decided to go back to Flinders because we were bored and poor in the city. The trains were ridiculously late and full. To make things worse, it was bloody raining and everything. Just overall pwnage. On the train from Southern Cross to Footscray, some creepy chick started talking to me. Uncool. But eventually we made it back to his. We talked and listened to music and screwed around for a few hours and then I went home. No complications. If only every day of the year could be like today. :) |
